Food trucks at The Boardwalk? A pilot is proposed.
Johns Creek Bulletin reported October 13, citing Appen Media, that council members supported exploring a 12-month food-truck and pushcart pilot at The Boardwalk during the October 5 work session. The report identifies October 26 as the anticipated next formal council step.
The proposal would allow eligible vendors outside the city-sponsored or permitted events described in the report. It could add another reason to visit the public park between major events.
Proposed does not mean approved or operating. BBDN has not independently reviewed the controlling ordinance, staff packet or final council action. Vendor locations, operating hours, permits, fees and any start date remain subject to verification. This is not an announcement that food trucks are now serving under the proposed program.

Medley’s Oct. 29 grand opening is a major Town Center milestone, but it is not the end of the Johns Creek Town Center buildout. Toro has announced a 28-tenant opening wave for Oct. 29, additional tenant openings after that, and a second phase called Encore.
